Shamrock House provides eight shared supported living flats that have access to communal living and dining areas and six independent supported living flats.
Each flat has its own shower/bath and toilet facilities, a full size kitchen and living area plus a separate bedroom. Residents have a tenancy agreement for their flats and are supported to apply for housing benefit to help with the cost of the rent.
Staff and residents help create a friendly, communal atmosphere by holding DVD nights in the lounge, barbecues and arranging group outings such seaside trips. Residents are also consulted about the running of the scheme.
Support is provided for people with enduring mental health issues and those with complex needs to enable them to gain or regain the skills necessary for living in the community and to meet their full potential.
We provide personalised support to residents who can enjoy the independence of living in their own flat but with the reassurance of support when needed.
Shamrock House is within a 10 minute walk from High Wycombe town centre, providing easy access to all local facilities and public transport links.
There are many things to do in High Wycombe, including a large shopping centre, two cinemas, a library and a bowling alley. There are also day centres and ‘drop in’ clubs available.
