The people we support and staff came together to join in the festive fun and spread some cheer at the annual Christmas party for the services in Bracknell.
The event was held at Easthampstead Baptist Church in Bracknell and was decked out into a winter wonderland for all to enjoy.
The people we support were able to spend an afternoon filled with Christmas music and dancing – there were also a few Harry Styles requests!
There was even a special guest appearance from Santa Clause himself, played by a person we support, who handed out presents to each person.
The party is organised by a group of both staff and people we support who arrange not just the DJ and the venue but also the buffet filled with various foods - savoury snacks and lots of homemade cakes!
One of the organisers who lives at a scheme in Bracknell, spoke with us before the event to tell us how he had helped to do the decorations. He was thrilled to see how the event had turned out and thoroughly enjoyed himself.
Francis Zvoma, Head of Care and Supported Housing for Regulated Services, said:
"The Christmas party success was a testament to the power of inclusion, community and collaboration. With delicious food, music and dancing on offer, everyone came together to celebrate the festive season. Thanks to the dedicated managers and staff and the enthusiastic participation of all, the event was a resounding success."
