  • Our available homes

Looking for a shared ownership home to buy? Hightown may have a property right for you.

All our available homes are listed on our website.

Find the right property for you, check the eligibility, and register your interest.

  • Shared ownership

Shared ownership is a great scheme that aims to help first time buyers onto the property ladder. Rather than renting, you can buy a 50% share in your home with a much lower deposit than you would need to buy a home outright. You then pay a subsidised rent for the remaining shares and can buy more shares over time.

Shared ownership makes buying a home manageable and affordable.

  • Applying for social housing

Unfortunately, you cannot apply to us directly for social housing.

We do not hold waiting lists for our housing; our properties are let to people from the council's registers so you must apply with your local council.

If you're in housing need, facing homelessness or need an affordable home, you can apply to go on your local council's housing register.

  • Renting with Hightown

Not in the position to buy a home right now? Through our Rent for Less (also known as Intermediate Rent) scheme you can rent a stylish modern home for 80% of the normal market price.

All our available properties are advertised on our website, but they can let very quickly so get in touch with us if you're interested in a specific property.

  • Rent for Less

Rent for Less could be your stepping stone to owning your first home.

Through this scheme you can save 20% of what you would have spent by renting on the private market, giving you the breathing space to save up a deposit and buy your first home. Most of our Intermediate Rent tenants stay on for 2-5 years before going on to buy a home.

N.B. you cannot apply for these properties if you receive housing benefit.
