Our approach

We provide support to adults with severe and enduring mental health illness in a safe and positive environment. Staff work with individuals who have their own tenancy to develop independence and live the life they choose to.

As a psychologically informed organisation, we focus on trauma informed approaches to aid our support offer, recognising the unique and sometimes traumatic challenges individuals face

Each individual coproduces their own support plans, goals and ambitions and work with the staff to identify the best pathway for success.

We work with other professionals to develop a holistic care package to meet each individual's needs.

We use a trauma informed approach to overcome barriers, fears and stigma and promote positive professional relationships. Our support includes tenancy management, life skills, medication management and supporting people to socialise and engage with the community. Differing levels of support are available, from shared supported living projects to outreach support in the community.

Staff working in mental health services are trained to support individuals with:

  • Self-harm and self-injury
  • Suicidal ideation
  • Dual diagnosis
  • Psychosis
  • Emotionally unstable personality disorder
  • Bipolar disorder
  • Autism and mental health
