Most residents need the support of a longer stay in a residential home so that they can gradually extend their life skills before moving to more independent accommodation.
We believe that all residents should be as involved as possible in making decisions about their lives. We aim to ensure a high quality life for each individual, including encouraging residents to use community resources and to develop and maintain relationships, friendships and contact with families. Family members and friends are always welcome to visit.
Residents are encouraged to express themselves and live fulfilling and enjoyable lives.
The ground floor is fully accessible for wheelchair users and there is one adapted bedroom.
Each bedroom has a secure medication cabinet to ensure privacy and dignity when administering medications.
We help residents develop a planned and structured plan based on their needs and preferences. Residents are encouraged to become involved in the local community.
All residents have their own bedroom which includes their own shower and toilet facilities. Residents are allowed to smoke in their rooms if they wish, but they are asked to follow an agreed safety procedure.
There is a large garden, communal lounge and dining room. There is also a games room/ quiet lounge containing a pool table and comfy seating.
