We aim to provide personalised support to people living in their own homes to help them meet their full potential. Tenants have a tenancy agreement for their flats and are supported to apply for housing benefit to help with the cost of their rent. Tenants are also responsible for their own electric, gas and water bills.
Each tenant is assigned a link worker. Tenants work with their link worker to develop a person centred plan to meet their needs which may include daily living skills, managing a tenancy and accessing activities.
All tenants are registered with local GPs and have access to locally based community health services. Specialist health care can be found if necessary. Advocacy workers are encouraged and supported at Culverton Court. Advocates are welcome to support tenants at their meetings if requested.
Each flat consists of an open plan lounge and fitted kitchen, a bathroom with an over bath shower and a single bedroom.Tenants are required to furnish their own flats.
All tenants are supported to access facilities in the community, for example, accessing local gyms and libraries. Tenants are also supported and encouraged to take an active role in the community which may include volunteering and work placements if suitable.
Culverton Court is situated in Princes Risborough - just a ten minute walk to the local shops and leisure centre, including a swimming pool and sports facilities.
