If you have problems making your rent payments, tell us straight away. We will listen and offer advice on how to solve the problem.
- Do not ignore letters, phone calls or visits from our staff concerning arrears.
- Do contact us if you have a problem with rent payment or receive a letter about your rent account.
- Do ensure you make any claim for Housing Benefit promptly and have evidence of making a claim.
- Do seek independent advice from an organisation such as a Citizens Advice Bureau if you have debt, benefits or serious arrears problems. We can put you in touch.
