Following the Government announcement on Plan B and people being asked to work from home if they can, we wanted to provide you with an update on how this affects the services we provide for you.

Visiting Hightown House

You can still meet with us at the Hightown House office and to do so, you will need to:

  • book an appointment with the person you wish to meet with
  • wear a face covering when you come into the office
  • sanitise your hands as you enter and leave the building.

Please do not visit our office without an appointment. We will review these measures when the Government makes a further announcement and will provide you with regular updates.

Visiting you at your home or meeting you at another property

If anybody in your household has tested positive for COVID-19, has any symptoms or is self-isolating, please tell us before your appointment.

If Hightown staff or contractors need access to your home, we ask that you help us by opening a window, keeping at least a 2 metre distance and staying in another room, if possible, while the work is carried out.

Our contractors will wear personal protective equipment and wipe down any surfaces they touch. They will continue to follow the working safely during coronavirus guidance issued to construction and outdoor workers.

When Hightown staff visit you in your home or at another property, they will wear a face covering and keep their distance.

We are continuing to carry out safety checks and inspections of our buildings and communal areas; please help us by keeping fire doors closed and not leaving items in communal areas that present a fire risk or would get in the way of an escape route.

Hightown is committed to keeping our residents, staff and contractors safe during this difficult period and we are very grateful to you all for supporting us in this and playing your part.
