All residents are encouraged and supported to add personal touches to their rooms and to make decisions about their daily lives, such as what clothes to wear or what foods to eat.

We aim to promote individual participation and choice at every opportunity, keeping the residents engaged and allowing them to live enjoyable and fulfilling lives. We encourage involvement in the community and the development and maintenance of relationships, friendships and contact with families.

The caring and highly-trained staff team offers a diverse range of experience and expertise. This includes the most up-to-date training in managing challenging behaviours, administering medication, providing personal care and supporting equality and diversity, to mention just a few of the qualifications our staff hold.

There is a large garden on site, which includes a sensory area, which provides a stimulating journey through the senses, heightening awareness, and bringing positive learning experiences. There are weekly visits to the home by a local aromatherapist. There are regular activities organised by staff, including  tasting sessions to establish which foods residents enjoy eating and to provide an opportunity for a greater range of culinary  experiences.
