At Aplin Road, we are passionate about providing a supportive living environment that is both warm and friendly. We specialise in providing support for adults with learning disabilities and Acquired Brain Injury in order for them to live a happy and meaningful life. The staff team at Aplin Road are both caring and professional, and between them have many years of health sector experience.
There are four, two bedroomed self-contained flats over two floors, each with its own well-equipped kitchen, spacious lounge with TV, and with either a bathroom or a shower room. One ground floor flat has its own ceiling tracking hoist in the bedroom/bathroom with disabled access throughout the ground floor; there is also a lift to the first floor if required.
Aplin Road also has a garden with a patio area for residents to sit out and enjoy in the summer. Additionally, we have a secure rear garden with parking to both the front and rear of the property.
Arts and Crafts is a real theme at Aplin Road so much so that we've recently renovated our garage to an Arts and Crafts/Activity Haven that all our residents will be able to use.
Residents regularly enjoy trips to the local Gateway disco as well as meals out, walk and days out.
Our local amenities, just a 10 minute walk away, include Lloyds Pharmacy, Costa Coffee, Co-Op, Sainsbury's, hairdressing salon, a couple of charity shops together with a good Chinese takeaway and Fish and Chip shop. There are local churches within walking distance and a welcoming pub.
