Christmas trees

For those of you that have a real Christmas tree this year, please remember to recycle your tree! Trees can be shredded into wood chippings which can be used in parks or woodland areas. There are recycling centres all over the country where you can recycle your Christmas tree.

Find your local recycling centre

If you have an old artificial tree that you no longer need, why not consider donating it to a local charity shop to see if someone else can make use of it!

Christmas packaging and waste

Your local recycling centres can also be used for other boxes and packaging you may find yourself left with from Christmas celebrations and gifts. Large items will need to be taken to your local recycling centre for disposal. To avoid overloading your bin with a pile up of rubbish this Christmas, make sure you know when your bins are due for collection!
