To ensure the safety of all residents and meet fire and safety requirements, items must not be left in communal areas or shared loft spaces.

This includes everything from smaller items to bicycles. Our Estates Quality Inspectors will place notices on items to warn the owner that they will be removed.

Items of little value will not be kept but valuable items will be stored for up to 28 days - you will just need to make an appointment to arrange to collect them. You will need to pay a £15 fee before we can return any items and you may be charged the cost of removing the items. 

The removal of large items from estates, particularly bin stores, is a particular problem. Unless we know who is responsible, the cost of removing any items is added to the service charge for all residents.
