On Friday 17th November residents at Perrycoste Court in St Albans celebrated the scheme's 30th anniversary with an evening party hosted by the Perrycoste Social Committee.

Perrycoste Court is a retirement scheme originally built by St Albans District & Churches Housing Association, which later merged with Hightown. The scheme opened in October 1987 and includes 57 rented apartments for local people over 55 yrs surrounding a central communal building.

The estate's active Social Committee arranged to mark the occasion with an evening get-together including cake, a raffle and music.
