This Mental Health Awareness Week, Hightown is proud to share a new showreel that reflects what great mental health care looks like in practice – care that is human, compassionate and centred around the person.

This year, Mind’s campaign highlights that effective mental health support isn’t just clinical, it’s human. It’s about active listening and understanding individual experiences and ensuring no one is left to struggle. These principles are at the heart of how our mental health services work every day.

Our showreel brings this to life by showcasing the person‑centred support delivered by Hightown colleagues, who work alongside the people we support to build trust, promote independence and support recovery. It reflects the importance of recognising each person’s unique needs, strengths and circumstances.

The video also features Dr Brett Grellier at BGPS, who shares insights on our partnership to deliver reflective practice and clinical supervision. These approaches play a vital role in supporting our colleagues to deliver thoughtful, high‑quality care, while looking after their own wellbeing too.

During Mental Health Awareness Week, we’re joining the call to ensure no mind is left behind by continuing to champion person-centred support, strong professional relationships and services that put people first.

Watch the showreel below to see how Hightown’s mental health services are making a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
