You may have heard that in 2015 the Government proposed that some housing association tenants would be able to buy their homes through a Voluntary Right To Buy agreement with housing associations. The details are still being finalised by the Government.
Some of our tenants already have the ‘Right to Acquire’ their home, a different scheme with much less generous discounts than those proposed by the Government under the Voluntary Right to Buy – if you wish to know if your property is eligible for either scheme, log in to your MyHightown account and submit an enquiry form.
