Our Residents Voice and Scrutiny Panel (RVSP) met in July for the second time and decided which services to scrutinise and the areas they want to be involved in.
The Panel decided to focus on particularly important issues to residents such as repairs, lettings, gas safety, and tenancy fraud. The group will regularly be looking at resident involvement and community development initiatives.
The main focus of the Panel’s meeting in July was the Annual Report to Residents (published later this year).
Panel members will be visiting Hightown estates in St Albans and Hemel Hempstead during the summer to see the standard of service being delivered and talk to other residents.
Improvements to estates
In October, the Panel will consider bids from residents to make improvements to their estates. If you have a suggestion, please contact your Estates Quality Inspector by the end of August. This gives us time to find out how much things will cost.
