Your IFA/lender will handle the mortgage process:

  1. The lender needs to be sure of the value of the property, in order to formally approve your mortgage
  2. The lender will appoint a surveyor to provide a mortgage valuation, which you’ll need to pay for
  3. The lender will contact our sales team directly to arrange an appointment for the valuation
  4. The surveyor will send a copy of the valuation report to your lender who, if they are happy with the report, send the mortgage offer directly to you and your solicitor
  5. Once your mortgage has been issued to you, you will need to send Hightown a copy by email so we can check and approve it
