There is a significant shortage of affordable housing in the South East and building more homes to help meet this need is one of our main aims.
We are one of the fastest growing Housing Associations in the UK.
Hightown will be delivering around 1,000 new affordable homes for people in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire over the next two years.
We develop schemes so that they meet the needs of a wide range of household sizes and types and do not exclude any group. Hightown homes are either let at social rent (60%), affordable or intermediate rents (around 80% of the market rent) or to people with support needs.
Around 20% of new homes will be for shared ownership - a more affordable way for first-time buyers to buy their own home by purchasing a share in a property (normally 50%) and paying subsidised rent on the remaining share.
We have an ambitious development programme and would be interested to discuss any new opportunities - please get in touch by using the form below.
