Have you ever wanted to make a real difference in how Hightown is run? The Residents’ Voice and Scrutiny Panel (RVSP) is your chance to do just that!
The RVSP is a dedicated group of residents who meet every quarter to help shape and improve our services. By sharing feedback directly with senior management, the panel helps influence key decisions, polices and performance areas across the organisation. It’s all about ensuring that your voice is heard and that you play an active role in shaping decisions that affect your home and neighbourhood.
What’s it like to be part of the RVSP?
The group recently worked together to review resident engagement and explore how to get more people involved.
Bernie Roles, member of the RVSP, shares: “We created a residents’ survey to find out what barriers people faced when trying to engage. The response was fantastic – we now have real data to help shape solutions. Next, we are planning workshops so residents can share their thoughts in person.”
Bernie particularly values the transparency of Hightown’s reporting, adding: “I like that the performance data is shared online – it gives a clear, honest view of how the services are doing. The colour coding and visuals make it easy to understand which targets are being met.”
Make an impact
Joining the RVSP is a great way to learn new skills, meet like-minded people and influence major decisions that shape the future of your housing community.
The commitment is small – just two hours every quarter but the impact is huge. Your time and contribution are valued and members receive a £20 voucher per meeting plus any travel or childcare expenses.
So why not get involved? Cast your vote, amplify tenants’ voices and help shape the direction of your community.
