At Hightown, we believe that our residents play a vital role in helping us to improve and shape our service standards and performance. The feedback we receive from our residents is invaluable; it provides insights that help us improve our services and better meet the needs of the community.
To ensure that resident voices are heard and acted upon, Hightown Managers hold quarterly meetings with our Resident Voice and Scrutiny Panel. During these sessions, various items are reviewed, including the community development and resident report, where panel members are invited to offer their comments and ask questions. Each meeting also features a guest speaker, providing the panel with updates on ongoing initiatives and developments with the organisation.
Here are some of the key items discussed during the recent meeting:
- Update on company matters: The panel received comprehensive updates on various subjects, including staffing levels and charges to the board.
- New Complaints Team: The establishment of a new complaints team was announced aimed at improving the effectiveness of complaint resolution processes.
- Task Review Process: A meticulous review process for outstanding tasks and actions was discussed, ensuring continuity when staff mentions transition out of their roles.
- Estate Improvement Requests: The panel was informed of requests for estate improvements and had the opportunity to vote on projects that prioritise resident safety and provide value for money.
We want you to feel valued, listened to, and confident that we’re acting on your views. Your input is crucial in shaping our services, and we encourage all residents to participate in these sessions.
