Winner - Michelle, Knebworth
Neighbour, Katie said: “Michelle is just gorgeous! She has a kind nature and has set up a WhatsApp group to communicate with everyone in our block of flats. She makes everyone feel welcomed and at ease.
She has supported neighbours with maintenance issues, as well as baking lovely cakes for us. Nothing is ever too much trouble and she absolutely deserves this award, we are so lucky to have her.”
Winner - Derek, Knebworth
Neighbour, Paul told us: “Derek is always looking out for people living on the estate and helping all his neighbours. He is like our unofficial neighbourhood watch person. It’s always reassuring to know that if you are away from home, he will keep an eye on it, without even asking him to do it.”
Winner, Ray, St Albans
Neighbour, Peter told us: “Ray organises coffee mornings, bingo nights and bric-a-brac sales in the lounge for the other customers. He supports people to communicate with Hightown when they need to report repairs. He used to be on the customer involvement panel and he knows many members of the Housing team.”
