Hightown chief executive Maxine Espley MBE has been appointed to the Hightown Board as an Executive Board member, reinforcing the association’s commitment to strong, transparent governance.
Maxine, who has led the association since April 2025, will now contribute to Board-level governance and decision-making, while continuing to oversee day-to-day leadership.
Hightown chairman, Qadeer Kiani OBE, said:
“We are delighted to welcome Maxine to the Hightown Board. Maxine’s leadership and in-depth knowledge complement the diverse expertise of our existing Board, who already bring an independent voice and external scrutiny to Hightown’s governance practices. In creating a new unitary governance arrangement, our intention is to strengthen our collaborative, collegiate and transparent approach to decision-making, enabling Hightown to continue to effectively navigate competing risks while strengthening our ability to respond to the needs of customers and the wider organisation.”
