Hightown Housing Association is proud to announce that Jessica Wray, care & supported housing contracts manager, has been named Partnerships Champion at the Social Care Leadership Awards 2025.
Jessica’s leadership has been instrumental in shaping high-quality, person-centred care across our learning disability services in Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire and Berkshire, delivering tailored housing and support to individuals with a wide range of needs. Her dedication to empowering teams, fostering innovation and building strong partnerships has earned her this well-deserved recognition.
With nearly 17 years’ experience in social care, Jessica has led collaborative initiatives that unite health, social care and community sectors to deliver inclusive support to the people we support.
The judges praised Jessica’s approach, stating:
“Jessica exemplifies exceptional leadership in learning disabilities and autism. Her expertise, dedication and person-centred approach empower teams, inspire trust and enhance care outcomes. Through mentorship, clear communication and innovation, she drives professional growth and delivers outstanding support to both colleagues and the people she serves.”

The Social Care Leadership Awards, organised by Care Talk Magazine, recognise excellence in senior leadership within the sector.

“I was genuinely surprised but honoured to learn I had been shortlisted for this award. I had no idea my team had nominated me. It’s an incredible feeling to know that the people you lead hold you in such high regard.
“To then go on and win the award at a national level was truly fantastic. I feel humbled and immensely grateful. I’m fortunate to work alongside amazing people every day. My head of care and supported housing and our director have been unwavering in their support and this recognition is a reflection of the brilliant managers and support workers in my team.”
