    Buntingford is the smallest town in Hertfordshire and one of the most historic, with a wealth of Georgian and medieval buildings. Excellent access to the A10 has made Buntingford a desirable commuter town, offering a good selection of traditional and contemporary shops, a local supermarket, a regular Monday market and a wide range of cafes, restaurants and pubs.     The county town of Hertford is 13 miles away, Bishop’s Stortford and Stevenage are both 11 miles away, with fast and frequent rail services into London Kings Cross from Stevenage station, in under 25 minutes and Liverpool Street from Bishop’s Stortford station approximately 45 minutes.
