    Buntingford is an old market town within easy reach of London and Cambridge, largely unspoilt over the centuries. It is a designated area of outstanding architectural and historical interest with buildings dating back to the 15th century. Samuel Pepys and even Queen Elizabeth I both stayed in the centre of town.

    There’s an array of local clubs and societies for all ages. There is a local swimming pool, a skate park, playing fields, and tennis, football and cricket clubs with teams for all ages. Boasting a High Street with independent shops and boutiques, as well as a Sainsbury’s Local and a Co-Op for all the essentials. There’s also a choice coffee shops, tearooms, restaurants and traditional pubs. The town has a nursery, two primary schools, one secondary and an upper school and sixth-form academy.

    For a wider range of shops and entertainment Stevenage is only 10 miles to the west. For a relaxing day out visit Stotfold Watermill & Nature Reserve. For travelling further afield Stansted Airport is 18 miles to the east. With countryside all around and London so close, Buntingford is the perfect place to settle down.
