Our caring and experienced staff team support residents to live happy, fulfilling lives in a safe environment. We aim to promote individual independence and choice at every opportunity. Due to the high level of support needs of the residents, there is a minimum of two members of staff on site at all times. Residents are always supported when they are out in the community.
The current residents have limited mobility, but we encourage them to be as active as possible and to get involved in community activities which interest them. We promote the development of relationships, friendships and contact with families. Family members and friends are welcome to visit.
Residents communicate in a variety of different ways, but we believe that this should not hinder their ability to make life choices. All residents are supported to add personal touches to their rooms and be involved in the decoration of their home.
The residents at Sunnybrook Close have complex medical needs and require high levels of care. Each resident has a link worker.
Trinity Court has good relations with local healthcare professionals and the community learning disability team, ensuring that all residents have the best mutli-disciplinary care.
Each resident has their own bedroom and shares a kitchen, lounge, dining area, bathrooms, garden and laundry facilities.
The communal lounge has a TV and a DVD player, allowing residents to socialise together. The home also has its own vehicle, enabling staff to organise outings for the residents. Residents are also supported to go on holidays to locations of their choice, depending on the staff and funds available.
There is also a large accessible garden, allowing the residents to spend time outdoors and get involved in gardening.
Sunnybrook Close is on the outskirts of the village of Aston Clinton, with a pub, churches, post office, shops and public transport links. Aston Clinton is four miles from the main town of Aylesbury with access to banks, restaurants, shops, the library, and public transport.
