We specialise in dealing with those with complex needs and conditions associated with older people such as mobility issues and dementia. The dedicated staff team organise activities tailored to the needs of each resident, allowing them to engage at their own pace.
We provide 24 hour cover and support, including overnight, where there is always one member of staff as waking night support and one member of staff sleeping-in. There is emergency support from a senior member of staff who is on call for advice at all times.
The philosophy of the home is that age isn’t a barrier to enjoying yourself and all staff ensure activities are appropriate to the residents’ abilities. Every resident has a link worker to support them to make decisions. We encourage all residents to get involved in the community, where they can and maintain friendships and family relationships. Family members and friends are always welcome to visit.
All our residents are treated with the upmost dignity and respect and we are dedicated to providing quality personal care tailored to the needs of each individual resident. Staff are fully qualified in all aspects of intimate personal care, including changing incontinence pads.
